Mia's New Life

Introducing Ciao Bella’s Mi Amore, aka. Mia, My stunning Chestnut Mare with a lineage that will leave you breathless.

With her Dam, Our Fallen Angel (WCC, RWC), and Sire, Mr. Las Vegas boasting impressive WGCs in their bloodlines, it’s no wonder that Mia is a true beauty.

What a beautiful piece of artwork by Pebblepicassos. Scary resemblance to Mia. I just love it.

Mia's story unfolds at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, where she was initially donated.

Despite Mia's timid arrival and health issues that made her skittish, Grace saw potential in her and embarked on a mission to help Mia regain her strength and confidence through dedicated training and care.

Through perseverance and dedication, Mia gradually overcame her fears.

Grace and Mia's blossomed into a strong and reliable companion for Grace. Their bond deepened as they navigated internships together, becoming inseparable partners.

As Graces graduation approached, concerns arose about Mia's future and well-being post-graduation.

However, with careful planning and consideration and consideration from William Woods University, Mia found a new home at Monnington Farms, where she continues to thrive.

With Graces work schedule Mia, has sometimes taken a backseat to work.

I was thrilled to lease her out to a customer this year. Watching Mia perform so well under someone else's care was a proud moment for me, and it reinforced my decision to take the next step with Mia.

Admired her for her grace and strength, Grace has always dreamed of having a foal from Mia.

So so last spring was the perfect time to give Mia an opportunity to express herself like she deserved. I took her for a veterinarian examination to see whether she could conceive and give birth to a new foal.

The vet examination was a bit of a challenge for Mia, as she did not really care for being examined.

However, once she realized that the vet was there to help her, she relaxed a bit and let the examination proceed. The vet checked Mia's overall health and condition, as well as her reproductive system.

The timing was perfect for breeding Mia. We seized the opportunity to use the breeding  service of a legend Stallion “Glamorous Nuts”.

Descended from the illustrious Undulate's Nutcracker, Glamorous Nuts carries on the legacy of excellence, with Nutcracker holding the prestigious 2022 sire rating for an impressive 13th consecutive year.

After what felt like an eternity, eleven long months, as we eagerly anticipated the big event,

Mia, with her nonchalant grace, carried on with her daily routine as if nothing had shifted. Little did she know, a whole new chapter was unfolding in her life, transforming it in the most extraordinary ways.

From thet moment going forward, every aspect of her existence seemed to sparkle with a fresh light.

Little did she know, a whole new chapter was unfolding in her life, transforming it in the most extraordinary ways.

Who would have guessed. "Mia, A Social Buuterfly."

We let her outside in the pasture to live among the other mares that were in-foal like her. They were like a coffee clutch. They folloed each other endlessly and of course Mia was living Large.
